Hey guuuuuuys!
So I weighed and I lost 3.5lbs! Good but a leeeeeeeeeeeeettle
disappointed that changing my regime of “eating huge chunks of butter & cheese
on toast for breakfast/hoovering up everything else in the house” for muesli,
fruit, soup and dinner didn’t generate more loss. But still it IS a loss and I
am on the right track.
I have also (as my long suffering
Facebook friends/Twitter followers already know) developed a cold!
Booooooooooooo! I’m SUCH a bad patient. I am in no way stoic, I moan and moan
and moan. And I think I have been true to form so far too! But it does mean
unfortunately that I don’t get to do my brilliant class tonight. RUBS!!!! Am
gutted about that.
But apart from feeling like
death, looking like death and...Er….smelling like death????!!! (Poor Emlyn!) I
am not too bothered about the cold. It’s taken my appetite away a bit, I can’t
taste my food. And I get to catch up on some junk TV and write my blog. *In the
past I would self-medicate with some lovely full bodied red wine (hmmm rich,
spicy, tasty, velvety red wine!) but that inevitably makes you feel even worse
the next day (if, like me, you are unable to stick to the recommended one glass
a day. ONE????). And I think it probably doesn’t help your immune system either
does it? If your body is having to fight self-inflicted dehydration on top of
“cold”-inflicted (!) dehydration!
*can I just point out here that I
wouldn’t self-medicate with said wine IN THE DAY! I would have the decency to
wait until the child was in bed!
Ok so I will check in again when
I have something else to tell you. I’ll leave you with a delightful picture of
my suffering. (Me? A ham?!!!) Who needs instagram when you’re as much a beaut
as I am eh?
Ps Don't forget to bob over here
to sponsor me if you like:
